Just thought I'd let people know - if you buy from base.com, you often have two buying choices. One is "fulfilled by BaseCH", i.e. Switzerland - the price shown is often a little cheaper. The other is to buy directly from Base.com.

Almost always buy directly from Base.com, NOT BaseCH!

Reason: Base.com prices include UK VAT of 20%. This is deducted on export (i.e. if you ship to Aus) - giving you a 16.667% discount off the base.com price. This does not apply for BaseCH, so often the final price is cheaper!

Example: Atelier Sophie (PS4):
BaseCH, upon export: £16.85
Base.com upon export: £18.85 - £3.14 (UK VAT) = £15.71
A saving of £1.14

Of course, it depends on the price and price difference, so YMMV.
